The objectives of this page are to provide opportunities for;
- all stakeholders who care about education to express their aspirations,
- succinct focus upon the issues and obstacles confronting educational development in this country and "possible solutions",
- the discussion of educational systemic problems, including issues of equity "and possible solutions".

The most important issue at the moment is establishing credibility and trust in the system and the Government's plans to address educational and Human Resource needs.
Two factors that the webmaster believes are very important right from the beginning:
1. If we are serious about reformation we need to open up effective communication (two-way) between all stakeholders and education sectors. There are so many talented people with extensive and valuable experience in the field who are not being utilized effectively.
2. We need to increase the proportion of the National Budget allocation for education (For example in Malaysia it's 25%). It is the hope of this webmaster that we will strive for a figure of around 25% (with 0% corruption) within one (1) year, we are already so far behind other countries..

 "JAKARTA--MI: Menteri Pendidikan Nasional (Mendiknas) pada Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu II, Mohammad Nuh menegaskan dirinya akan menargetkan perbaikan infrastruktur sekolah pada 100 hari pertama.
Pada 100 hari pertama saya menjabat saya akan memulai perbaikan sekolah rusak atau bocor, kata Mendiknas Mohammad Nuh.
Ia menjelaskan, selain perbaikan sekolah rusak di masa 100 hari pertama menjabat dirinya akan melakukan sejumlah hal.
Yang pertama adalah melanjutkan program pendidikan tahun 2009 yang belum tuntas dan sudah ditetapkan pada pemerintahan menteri sebelumnya. Pada 100 hari pertama saya menjabat yakni sekitar November 2009 hingga Januari 2010, saya akan melanjutkan program tahun 2009 yang telah ditetapkan oleh menteri sebelumnya, katanya."
